One year has passed since the oil peony seeds donated by Our Children International were planted in September 2019.

The saplings are growing healthily in a tree nursery in Kangso District, Nampho, partly thanks to the help from researchers of the Forestry Research Institute.

The sprouting rate of seeds planted was 60% and a total of around 120 000 saplings have been produced.

The saplings will be transplanted in a mountain under the care of a Children's Union organization in Kangso District in mid-September 2021.
